THE NEW TAKES OVER MARKET RESEARCH CONCEPT IN THE COSMETICS SECTOR

Press release

Dortmund/Stuttgart, January 2020 – The classification concept for the cosmetics market developed by naturkosmetik konzepte is considered a relevant component for the analysis of the natural cosmetics market. On January 1, 2020, Elfriede Dambacher, owner and founder of naturkosmetik konzepte, handed over her developed market research concept to Mirja Eckert of THE NEW thus making room for an enhanced approach to market research. Mirja Eckert will henceforth also be responsible for the associated Organic Cosmetics Industr for the market. She will also be the new publisher of market research reports for the organic cosmetics market, which until now have been published by naturkosmetik konzepte.

Elfriede Dambacher has dedicated nearly her entire professional life to the organic cosmetics industry and has shaped the market in various ways. She has mastered a wide range of facts and figures and is considered an important networker in the industry. “At a time when organic cosmetics are leading the growth in the cosmetics market and are gaining new fans daily, it is important to introduce a generational change in a timely manner and thus make room for new ideas,” Elfriede Dambacher is pleased to hand over her classification concept into new hands. “In Mirja Eckert I have found the ideal successor at the right time. I am sure that the entire organic cosmetics industry can only profit from her input”.

“To me, organic cosmetics are much more than just a trend and that is why they are so exciting,” comments Mirja Eckert on her motivation for endeavouring in this industry. The 44-year-old Swabian looks back on over 20 years in the fashion, sports and service industries and dedicates herself specifically to trend and sustainability management with her company THE NEW. “I am firmly convinced that I can open new doors for the organic cosmetics industry with my scientifically-based know-how gained from my trend research experience, and create links to other social developments and business fields,” she outlines her vision. Nevertheless, she says it is very important to her to maintain the continuity of the tried and tested classification. Wherever possible and necessary, she will continue to be actively supported in this by Elfriede Dambacher, who would like to preserve the industry’s integrity.

At VIVANESS, the international trade fair for organic cosmetics, there will also be an opportunity for personal discussions at THE NEW’s stand (stand number: 3C-351). You are welcome to arrange a personal appointment in advance or drop by daily between 11-12 a.m. and 5-6 p.m. for a more spontaneous conversation. We look forward to seeing you!
